Our story
From community centre to the High Street
We opened the Holt Banking Hub in February 2025, initially in a temporary home within the community centre, so that local people did not have to wait for banking to return to the town.
We have since moved into permanent premises at 16 High Street: the former Barclays bank. There is a fitting heritage to the building: a bank that once served Holt's high street now serves the community again, in a new form that welcomes customers of all major banks and building societies.
Our purpose is straightforward: to keep essential banking services on the High Street for Holt and the wider area. Residents, local businesses and visitors to North Norfolk can manage their money in person here.
